INDIAN COMMERCIAL PILOT COURSE
As on March 31st, 2002, we have trained 229 students for this
course.
This course is designed to meet the requirements for syllabus prescribed
under section D, E and F of Schedule II of Indian Aircraft Rules,
1937 of DGCA, Civil Aviation Department, Government of India, for
issue of Indian Commercial Pilots License. The CPL course is a package
course and includes syllabus of all License examinations required
to become a professional pilot viz. (i) Students Pilot License,
(ii) Private Pilots License, (iii) Commercial Pilots License, (iv)
COP/Radio Telephony (Restricted)/Flight Radio Telephone Pilots License.
Additionally, the CPL course specially covers all relevant subjects
in detail to pass the Commercial Pilots License written examinations
which are as follows :-
(1) Air Regulation,
(2) Air Navigation General & Flight Planning
(3) Aviation Meteorology
(4) Aircraft and Engine (Technical) General and Specific
(5) Certificate of Proficiency / Radio Telephony (Restricted)-FRTOL
DURATION : 16 Weeks for Regular batch.
08 Weeks for Summer Vacations batch.
ELIGIBILITY :
(a) Age : Minimum age for entry is 16 years, No upper age limit.
NO SEX BAR.
(b) Educational Qualification :- H.S.C. (10 + 2) Science with Physics
and
Mathematics. for issue of CPL. However student may be able to
join with following provision
PROVISIONS :
(1) Students studying in XI or XII Science are eligible to apply.
(2) Students appeared for S.S.C. Board examinations and expecting
to
join the science stream are also eligible to apply.
(3) Students having qualification in Commerce/Arts will also be
considered on their consent and agreeing to appear for XII Physics
and Mathematics examination to meet the requirements of the Government
of India through any Board of University
International Recognition of the Indian CPL
:- India is a signatory to the ICAO convention and the Indian CPL
is recognized by member country signatories except the UK. In general,
for another country to recognize the Indian CPL, the Pilot is required
to sit for the aviation law examination of that country.
